The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillip throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Reed's head.
Phillip tries to land a body kick
and Reed counters with a nice body shot.
Phillip scores with a head kick.
Reed throws a big shot that misses.
Phillip throws a hook to the side of Reed's head but Reed sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Phillip works the jab nicely.
Phillip's jab looks to have found its range, popping Reed under the eye.
Phillip throws a head kick that half lands.
Phillip tries a low kick but Reed avoids it.
Phillip just misses with a punch to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Reed lands a glancing blow to the side of Phillip's head.

Reed bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Reed is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Phillip is trying to escape and Reed transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Phillip is forced to tap! Nice work there by Reed! Very nice indeed!
