And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Taj Mahal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahal throws out a loose jab but Colmen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Taj Mahal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mahal takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Colmen forces Mahal back against the cage and clinches.
A left hand lands to the body for Colmen.
Colmen makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Colmen working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Colmen has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Mahal is trying to keep an underhook but Colmen manages to get the takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Mahal has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Colmen is working away from the top position though.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Colmen in particular looking to stall.

Colmen has hold of Mahal's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mahal manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
