Ben looking to score a takedown here. Kirk is defending well but Ben drives through and ends up in Kirk's guard.
Kirk might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kirk keeping moving, preventing Ben from controlling successfully.
Ben is looking to advance position but Kirk has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Kirk working for a guillotine from mount but Ben is in no mood to give up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ben is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Kirk has taken his back!
Kirk is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Ben has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Kirk has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Ben taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Kirk doesn't care though - he's delighted!
