The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernados shoots in for a takedown but Ozawa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bernados circles away from the clinch attempt.

Bernados tries to keep at a distance but Ozawa has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ozawa working hard to break the clinch.
Ozawa is trying to break the clinch but Bernados has him pressed against the cage.

Ozawa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ozawa gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ozawa stops a takedown attempt from Bernados.
Bernados changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ozawa fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Bernados shoots in and gets a takedown into Ozawa's guard.
Bernados tries to free his leg and advance position but Ozawa is retaining full guard.

Bernados drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ozawa dives on top into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ozawa looks gassed!

Ozawa wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Bernados's closed guard. He's half up but Bernados has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Bernados pivots and extends the arm, Ozawa falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Bernados! Well done that man!
