The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Filopovic.
Machida shoots in looking for a takedown. Filopovic tries to sprawl out of it but Machida keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Filopovic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Filopovic misses with a wild combination.
Filopovic throws a sloppy head kick

and Machida counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Filopovic's guard now.

Machida drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Machida jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Filopovic wants to stand and escape but Machida is having none of it.
Machida sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Filopovic's guard.

Machida is trying for a kimura here. Filopovic looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Machida wins by kimura!
