Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between William Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luisito Pallagud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Lil wayne - How to Love. Luisito Pallagud will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luisito Pallagud! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pallagud stuffs the takedown. Pallagud tries a head kick but it misses.
Gracie has a takedown stuffed. Pallagud shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gracie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Pallagud is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Gracie controlling the position. Pallagud slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gracie is pulling down on Pallagud's head to control his posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Luisito Pallagud was stalling too much, according to the referee. Gracie smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Pallagud shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Pallagud tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pallagud manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gracie on his heels. He'll look to pass Gracie's guard now, I'm sure. Pallagud pushing down on Gracie's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Pallagud is just content to waste time from the top position. Gracie takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Pallagud from controlling successfully. Pallagud must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gracie controls Pallagud momentarily but Pallagud frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pallagud is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Pallagud from controlling successfully. Pallagud postures up.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pallagud is looking to clinch but Gracie is avoiding it.
Gracie stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gracie wants it to stay on the feet. Gracie throws a right and a left that Pallagud avoids nicely. Pallagud drives through and clinches with Gracie against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pallagud has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gracie is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. William Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luisito Pallagud. Pallagud wants to break free but Gracie has control.
Gracie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gracie leaves Pallagud with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Pallagud shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pallagud was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Pallagud looks gassed! Pallagud prevents Gracie from getting the reversal. Gracie wants to control but Pallagud is having none of it. Gracie is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pallagud wants to control the pace but Gracie is squirming around nicely. Pallagud is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gracie has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gracie!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pallagud has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Pallagud's legs - danger averted. Pallagud utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pallagud keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gracie works a leg free and moves into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luisito Pallagud dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Pallagud defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Pallagud sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Pallagud throws a body kick that misses. No luck with that takedown attempt from Gracie. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice sprawl there from Gracie as Pallagud shoots in. Pallagud displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gracie throws out the jab. Gracie pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Pallagud tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gracie defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pallagud. Pallagud wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.

Pallagud shoots in for a double leg but Gracie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Pallagud misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pallagud moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off. Pallagud shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gracie but Gracie pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pallagud is breathing heavily. Gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pallagud stuffs the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Pallagud misses its intended target. Gracie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Pallagud shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracie as he jumps to the side. Pallagud tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gracie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pallagud somewhat. Gracie lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Pallagud changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but Pallagud manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gracie with a poor takedown so Pallagud counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Gracie seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie working Pallagud over with strikes here. Gracie lands with some strikes. Gracie lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Pallagud looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Pallagud is keeping busy.
Gracie trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Pallagud doesn't escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gracie looking to break Pallagud's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Pallagud remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Gracie will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
William Gracie dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Pallagud looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pallagud defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Gracie slips nicely into half guard. Pallagud really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gracie in particular looking to stall. Gracie passes the guard and advances to mount! Gracie looking to isolate an arm here. Pallagud doesn't see it coming and as Gracie extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Gracie!
