The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirgiakos takes a swing at Orochi's ribcage but misses.
Kirgiakos comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kirgiakos throws a poor cross that misses
and Orochi makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Kirgiakos misses the jab.
Orochi defending well as Kirgiakos loads up on a big left hand.
Orochi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kirgiakos.
Yamata Orochi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big right from Kirgiakos misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kirgiakos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kirgiakos wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Orochi moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

and Orochi counters with a good low kick that Kirgiakos was not able to check.
Kirgiakos takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Orochi lands a big head kick that sends Kirgiakos tumbling to the mat! Orochi takes a step backwards and waves Kirgiakos back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Orochi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kirgiakos is still on wobbly legs! Can Orochi finish him?

Kirgiakos takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Orochi has cracked Kirgiakos with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Orochi lands another huge swinging hook and Kirgiakos tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Kirgiakos, before Orochi can land any more shots!
