Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hank Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Hammer!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer catches Hill with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hammer throws a hook but Hill avoids it easily.
A punch lands to the side of Hill 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hill slips a jab from Hammer.
Hill feints and as Hammer raises his hands in defense, Hill changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hill slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Hill has hold of Hammer's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hammer tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hill cranks the arm and Hammer screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hammer, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Hank Hill!
