The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira feints and as Fabiano raises his hands in defense, Oliveira changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Let's hope that Oliveira has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Fabiano might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Oliveira moves out of range of the strikes.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Oliveira crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fabiano - the referee stops the clock and Oliveira gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fabiano. Oliveira manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
