Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Engle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joey Engle will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sub Zero!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joey Engle!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Engle throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Engle clinches with his opponent.
Engle manages to break the clinch.
Engle closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Zero is working for takedown but Engle is calmly controlling the position for now.
Engle taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Engle prevents the takedown attempt.
Engle gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Zero.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sub Zero. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zero has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Engle is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Engle stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Zero wants a takedown.
Engle prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zero is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Engle gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Zero tries to score a body lock takedown but Engle shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Engle manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Engle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zero shoots in looking for a takedown. Engle tries to sprawl out of it but Zero keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Engle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Zero walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Sub Zero has been cut.
A head kick from Engle lands but Zero takes it in his stride.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zero looks for a takedown but Engle sprawls well.
Engle is looking to chop away at Zero's legs.
Engle jabs Zero right on the nose. Zero blinks but takes it well.
Engle thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Zero if he has to take too many more of those.
Zero is breathing heavily.
Engle tries to clinch there but Zero circles away.
Zero changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Engle tries to avoid it but Zero manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Engle to the ground. Engle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Engle fails with an attempt to clinch.
Zero takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Joey Engle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Engle ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Engle lands a big head kick that sends Zero tumbling to the mat! Engle takes a step backwards and waves Zero back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Zero is rocked!
Zero takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Oh Zero is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Engle throws a head kick but Zero moves out of range.
Engle ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Both fighters circling a little - Engle finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Zero seems to have got his legs back now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Engle pounces like a tiger and cracks Zero with a vicious hook! Zero is down but not out! Engle follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Joey Engle!
Joey Engle is the new heavyweight champion!
