Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). East has chosen Hip Hop-Dead Prez as his entrance music. Andrei Arlovski had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Andrei Arlovski could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nick East's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arlovski lands with a shot to the body. East throws a quick inside leg kick. Arlovski scores with the left hand. East knows he should have avoided that one. Arlovski bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of East's head.
It looks like Nick East has been cut. A big left from Arlovski misses. Arlovski with a body punch. A glancing blow. Arlovski throws an overhand right that lands on East's shoulder, as East tries to avoid the shot. East chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Arlovski throws a shot from downtown. East moves away and avoids it. East throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. East just misses with a punch to the body.
East lands a right hook to the body.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from East. Arlovski throws a looping overhand right but East ducks down to avoid it. A left lands for East. East feints and then cracks Arlovski's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Arlovski down. East jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arlovski misses with a right hand so East counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. East sitting in guard here, content to control. Arlovski is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Arlovski is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. East is aware though and is defending well. Arlovski is breathing heavily. Arlovski working for a triangle but East defends it easily.
East with a nice head shot there. East stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arlovski swivels though and keeps the full guard. Arlovski can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as East controls the pace. East slips nicely into half guard.

Arlovski is working hard here to advance position. East seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Nick East has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. East lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
That's three minutes gone in the round. East ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Arlovski stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from East. East uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Arlovski. East misses with a wild body shot. East lets loose with a powerful body kick. Arlovski will feel that in the morning. East keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Arlovski. Arlovski on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Arlovski cracks East with an open hand slap. Arlovski takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Arlovski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but East manages to avoid it. East slips under a jab from Arlovski. The fighters circling - Arlovski throws out the jab but it was never going to land. East scores with a slapping inside leg kick. East avoids a punch combination nicely.
East fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Arlovski on the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Arlovski walks forward, straight into a front kick from East. This has been an exciting period of action! Arlovski takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. A solid leg kick lands there for East.
Arlovski misses with a double jab
and East counters with a flying knee. Nice. Arlovski takes a shot right to the bread basket. East scores with a body shot.
Arlovski throws an uppercut from half a mile away. East sees it coming and avoids it easily. Arlovski moves forwards but East connects with a nice, crisp jab. Both fighters circling a little - East finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! East throws a nice outside leg kick. A solid body kick from East. East stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick East dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nick East's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
East throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. East lands a really nice looking cross but Arlovski seems unphased.

Andrei Arlovski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Arlovski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
East cracks a nice hook into Arlovski's ribs. Arlovski keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Arlovski dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Arlovski throws a hook but East avoids it easily. East with a body punch. A glancing blow. Arlovski throws a series of punches but East moves out of range. East has closed the distance and engaged Arlovski in a clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from East. East lands a shot to the body. East lands a right hand that snaps the head of Arlovski backwards.

East has Arlovski pushed against the cage. East lands a body shot. East leaning against his opponent.
East works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

East lands a nice shot to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A left hand lands to the body for East.
Arlovski takes a shot to the head. East working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. East lands with a short head shot on the inside. Arlovski wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. East lands a body punch. East holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Arlovski is rocked! A short uppercut from East. Oh Arlovski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! East is stalling here.
East lands an uppercut. East lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. East throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. A bit of stalling here from East.
East lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. East pushes Arlovski back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. East lands a body shot. East stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. East pushes Arlovski against the cage. East is working some dirty boxing. East pushes off with a quick right hook! Arlovski goes down! Arlovski tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! East moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
