The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber wants to clinch up but Del Angel keeps it at a distance.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Faber is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Faber has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Del Angel is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Del Angel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Urijah Faber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Del Angel.

Del Angel gets control of Faber's arms and successfully pulls guard. Del Angel will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
