Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Sutherland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Young kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig Sutherland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Parker!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker keeps the fight on the outside.
Parker dodges the punch combination from Sutherland.
A combination from Sutherland does no damage.

Sutherland gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sutherland throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Sutherland keeping full guard, as Parker tries to pass.

Parker has gone for a leg lock! Sutherland slips out almost immediately though and dives into Parker's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Parker tries for a takedown but Sutherland sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Sutherland can't keep his opponent in guard - Parker advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Parker is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sutherland doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Parker.

Sutherland is looking for a sweep. Parker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Parker is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Sutherland has managed to free his arm - good work.
Sutherland wants to get back to full guard.
Parker uses his free foot to push down on Sutherland's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sutherland.
Sutherland keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Parker sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

The referee warns Sutherland that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sutherland breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Sutherland tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Parker paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sutherland darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Parker shoots for a takedown but Sutherland saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Craig Sutherland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Parker.
Sutherland rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Sutherland shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Parker pinned against the cage. Parker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Parker.
Parker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Parker shoots for a double leg takedown but Sutherland sprawls well. He's pushed Parker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Parker has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Sutherland is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Parker yanks on the arm and Sutherland is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Parker.
