Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Gaffney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Newman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Newman has chosen Taki maly taki duzy as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Gaffney, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Newman has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gaffney.
Newman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gaffney tries to bum rush Newman with a series of wild strikes but Newman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Newman has Gaffney pressed against the cage, preventing Gaffney from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Newman is trying to force a seperation but Gaffney has the dominant position.
Gaffney can't find room to land a body shot as Newman controls the action.
Newman tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gaffney smiles and moves away.

Newman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gaffney has him pressed against the cage.
Newman tries to pull guard but Gaffney holds him up against the cage and eventually Newman drops back down to his feet.

Gaffney escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Gaffney has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Gaffney is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Newman has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Gaffney is looking to defend but Newman has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Gaffney! Newman pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Gaffney taps out and this one is all over!
