Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sebastiaan Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoost comes to the cage accompanied by Redemption Song. Moon has chosen Don't Get Lost In The Heaven as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sebastiaan Hoost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Moon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moon scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hoost is looking for a sweep.
Moon cracks Hoost with a big elbow.
Hoost is looking to reverse the position.
Hoost is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Moon is chipping away with strikes.
Moon misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moon scoring with punches and elbows.
Moon fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hoost avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Moon.
Hoost takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Hoost is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Moon working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Moon creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hoost sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Hoost parries the strikes from Moon easily there. Moon is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hoost to escape.

Moon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Moon wants to control but Hoost is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hoost wants to get back to his feet.

Moon lands a few punches from side control.
Moon works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Moon with the ground and pound but Hoost regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Moon throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Moon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hoost doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Moon.

Moon thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Moon drops an elbow to the side of Hoost's head.

Moon wants to pass to mount but Hoost is defending the position.

Hoost wants to control but Moon is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Hoost pushes Moon off looking to stand but Moon dives back in and keeps control.
Hoost is refusing to be controlled, as Moon sits in half guard.
Hoost is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Moon throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hoost preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Moon postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hoost looks for the body kick but Moon saw that one coming.
Moon throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hoost goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hoost takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Moon scores with a kick to the body.
Moon slips a straight right by Hoost.
Moon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hoost is fending him off so far but Moon persists. Nope, Hoost circles away and we're back to standing.

Moon throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Hoost throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Moon pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hoost is out of range and Moon settles back down.

A clash of legs there as Hoost blocks the low kick.
Hoost throws a quick inside leg kick.
Moon takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Moon lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hoost takes a step back to recover.
Hoost looks for the body kick but Moon saw that one coming.
Hoost throws a head kick but Moon moves out of range.
Hoost tries to land a leg kick but Moon saw it coming and moves away.
Moon fails with a takedown attempt.
Moon keeps Hoost at a distance using the push kick.

Hoost misses with an uppercut. Moon saw that one coming.
Moon throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Sebastiaan Hoost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Moon.

Moon throws out a loose jab but Hoost uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hoost feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Moon's calf.

and Moon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Moon moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Sebastiaan Hoost is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hoost blocks a leg kick.
Hoost checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Moon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Hoost.
Hoost throws a low kick, looking for Moon's leg but Moon calmly moves out of range.

Moon stuns Hoost with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Moon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Moon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jason Moon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Hoost's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Hoost lands a leg kick that knocks Moon off balance momentarily.
Hoost finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Hoost swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Hoost keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hoost throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Moon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hoost.
Moon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hoost throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Moon counters with an inside leg kick.

Moon drives through with a takedown into guard.

Moon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Moon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hoost's head.

Moon is just content to waste time from the top position. Hoost takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Moon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hoost works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Moon postures up in Hoost's guard and throws a big left but Hoost blocks it.

Hoost can't keep his opponent in guard - Moon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Moon is stalling here. Hoost is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Moon seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hoost has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Hoost tries to stand but Moon controls the position and pulls Hoost into his guard.

Moon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Hoost avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hoost wanted to stand there but Moon had control of the position.

Moon is working an open guard so Hoost takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Hoost throws the kick towards the body but Moon avoids it.
Hoost tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hoost does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sebastiaan Hoost has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jason Moon is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Hoost throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Moon dodges the punch combination from Hoost.
Moon fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hoost on the side of the head.
Hoost scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sebastiaan Hoost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jason Moon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Moon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
