Soler has chosen National Anthem of Cuba as his entrance music. Fidel Soler has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Paul Bearer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bearer throws a right hand that Soler ducks under and follows up with a left that Soler also avoids with ease.
Soler looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Bearer shoots in and bounces Soler off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bearer trying to control the position from guard on top but Soler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Soler is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bearer working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Bearer looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Bearer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Soler works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bearer is stalling in the full guard.
Bearer wants to control from the top but Soler keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Paul Bearer.

Soler changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bearer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Soler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bearer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee asks Soler politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Soler prefers to stall for the moment though.

Soler rushes Bearer and presses him up against the cage.
Bearer goes for a takedown in the clinch but Soler prevents it.

Bearer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Soler swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Soler is trying to trip Bearer. He has hold of a leg but Bearer is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Soler persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Soler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bearer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Soler manages to get himself to full guard.

Well, if Bearer is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.
Bearer throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bearer seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Bearer trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Bearer isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Soler stacks Bearer on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Soler!
Soler has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Soler avoids the attempt from Bearer to control.

Soler takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Soler's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Bearer is squirming around, avoiding Soler's attempts to control the action.

Paul Bearer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fidel Soler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Soler tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bearer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Soler somewhat.
Bearer misses with a takedown attempt - Soler sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Soler stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Soler wants it to stay on the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bearer shoots in and drives through. Soler sprawls well.

Bearer connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Soler keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bearer takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Soler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bearer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Soler shoots for a takedown but Bearer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Bearer tries to pull guard but Soler holds him up against the cage and eventually Bearer drops back down to his feet.

Bearer tries to score a body lock takedown but Soler shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Soler jumps guard and drags Bearer to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Bearer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Soler has his hands on Bearer's head, controlling the position.
Bearer wants to stand but Soler has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Soler can't keep his opponent in guard - Bearer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

I would just about give that final round to Fidel Soler.
I think Soler has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
