Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiao Macale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damien Sanders!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macale getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Sanders looks gassed!
Macale scores with a hook.
It looks like Damien Sanders has been cut.
Sanders takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Sanders misses with a looping left.
Nice body punch from Macale.
Macale scores with a body shot.
Macale connects with a high kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sanders on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Macale plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Macale scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sanders throws a right and a left that both miss.
Macale swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sanders.
Macale buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Macale uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sanders has time to react.
Macale lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Macale moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Sanders on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Macale. Macale obviously looking to wear him down.
Macale cracks the inside of Sanders's front leg.
Sanders throws a nice looking combination but Macale bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Macale tests Sanders's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Macale thuds his shin into the meat of Sanders's side.
Macale lands a leg kick that knocks Sanders off balance momentarily.
Macale throws a head kick that half lands.
Macale lands a nice looking body kick.
Macale fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sanders.
Macale thows a body kick. Sanders tries to catch it but that hurt him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sanders sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Macale lands a nice looking body shot.
Sanders walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Macale goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Sanders is rocked!
Look low, kick high! Macale uses the oldest trick in the book to send Sanders tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Macale is absolutely delighted - when Sanders wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Tiao Macale!
