Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ilu avoids the head kick by Sims Jr.
Some bone on bone action there as Ilu checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Ilu fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sims Jr sprawls well initially but Ilu persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ilu thows a huge punch but Sims Jr dodges it nicely.
Ilu wants to get back to his feet.
Sims Jr regains full guard. Nicely done.

Ilu shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sims Jr manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Sims Jr is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ilu is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sims Jr to the mat. Sims Jr regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
