Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charly Wingate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alek Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Charly Wingate has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Charly Wingate seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell walks into a stiff left hand from Wingate.
Wingate scores with a jab to the jaw.
Wingate lands with an overhand left.
Wingate avoids the body shot from Mitchell.
Mitchell just misses with a punch to the body.
Mitchell misses with a wild body shot.
Wingate moves out of range as Mitchell throws a body kick.
Wingate throws a front kick that sends Mitchell stumbling back into the cage.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mitchell.
Wingate looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mitchell throws a right hand that misses
and Wingate counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mitchell misses with a takedown attempt
and Wingate counters with a three punch combo that has Mitchell backing up. Mitchell nods at Wingate to acknowledge the strikes.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wingate.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Mitchell is looking for a sweep.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wingate lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mitchell down.
Wingate advances nicely into full mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mitchell takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
BOOM! Wingate connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Wingate with shots to the head and body - Mitchell looks very uncomfortable down there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wingate landing strikes, looking to finish!
Wingate postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Mitchell out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Wingate goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
