The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sanders is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Punga gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Punga takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Punga misses with a takedown
and Sanders counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sanders lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Punga backs up against the cage.

and Sanders counters with a straight right hand.
Kota Punga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Punga doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sanders counters with a left to the body.
