Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bat Slade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slade comes to the cage accompanied by Billy Joel - Goodnight Saigon. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gracie's choice of entrance music: Deadmau5 - Some Chords. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie swings for the body but Slade moves out of range.
Slade throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Slade lands the left hand.

It looks like Julio Gracie has been cut.
Slade showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gracie.
Gracie throws a hook to the side of Slade's head but Slade sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gracie drops his hands momentarily and Slade takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Slade is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gracie throws a hook to the side of Slade's head but Slade sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gracie takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Slade connects with a body shot.
Bat Slade is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gracie looks gassed!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Slade softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

That has opened up Julio Gracie's cut even more.
Slade pushes Gracie back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Slade lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

The cut above Julio Gracie's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Gracie using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Slade has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Slade creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Julio Gracie's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Julio Gracie's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
