Dale comes to the cage accompanied by Try A Little Tenderness. Abbott comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Killer Cuts - kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Abbott darts in and clinches Dale up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Dale's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Abbott misses with a body punch.
Abbott misses with some punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Abbott dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Dale throws a sloppy head kick
and Abbott counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Abbott throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dale stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Abbott dips to his left and cracks Dale with an uppercut!

Abbott has Dale up against the cage in a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Philip Dale's cut is getting worse.
Abbott misses with a short punch on the inside.
Abbott stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Abbott misses with a hook to the ribs.

Abbott breaks from the clinch.
Dale has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

and Abbott counters with a crisp right hand that drops Dale! Abbott lets Dale back up to his feet, looking for a finish!


Dale is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Abbott moves out of range of the leg kick from Dale.
Oh Dale is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Abbott pounces like a tiger and cracks Dale with a vicious hook! Dale is down but not out! Abbott follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
