Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Padraig Keane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haka Maka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maka has chosen Island Music as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maka fails in his attempt to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Maka.
Keane scores with a one two! Maka had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Maka avoids a punch combination nicely.
A nice inside leg kick there by Keane. That's going to slow Maka down.
Keane really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Maka dives in and grabs Keane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Keane pushes down on Maka's head and hops out.
Maka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Maka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Keane avoids it really well and circles away.
Padraig Keane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haka Maka.
Keane throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Maka on the side of the head.
Keane throws a right and a left that Maka avoids nicely.
Keane throws a leg kick but Maka checks it.

and Maka counters with a nice double leg into side control. Keane won't be happy with that.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Keane is not content to let Maka control the position.

Maka fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Keane looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Maka closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Keane misses with a hook.
Maka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Maka throws a series of punches but Keane avoids them all with ease.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Maka shoots in and bounces Keane off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Keane scores with a counter punch that sends Maka to the canvas! Keane smells blood - he's punishing Maka with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Maka has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
