Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pacquiao as he avoids it easily.
Piper's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pacquiao connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Piper scrambles back to his feet.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Pacquiao!
Pacquiao stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Pacquiao lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Piper tries for a takedown but Pacquiao circles away easily
and Pacquiao counters with a series of strikes. Piper will be more careful next time no doubt.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Pacquiao connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Pacquiao fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Piper shoots and misses
and Pacquiao counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Piper. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Piper throws a right hand that Pacquiao ducks under and follows up with a left that Pacquiao also avoids with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pacquiao scores with a crisp jab that stopped Piper in his tracks.
Piper shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pacquiao pinned against the cage. Pacquiao gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Pacquiao counters with a series of strikes. Piper will be more careful next time no doubt.
Pacquiao lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Pacquiao lands with a shot to the body.
Piper walks into a jab.

and Pacquiao counters with a right hand to the body.
Pacquiao scores with a jab to the head.
Manny Pacquiao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Piper.
Piper walks into a stiff left hand from Pacquiao.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Piper. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Pacquiao lands with a nice body punch.
Piper takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Piper will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Pacquiao changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Pacquiao goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Oh Piper is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Piper moves forwards but Pacquiao connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pacquiao lands a nice looking body shot.
and Pacquiao counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Piper! He's just covering up as Pacquiao starts to tee off till referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Manny Pacquiao!
