Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monty Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Vasyanovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brown might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Monster by Skillet. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Brown. No joy for Vasyanovich on that attempt.

Vasyanovich shoots in but Brown avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Monty Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Vasyanovich.

Brown is trying to drag Vasyanovich to the mat but Vasyanovich just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Brown goes for a takedown in the clinch but Vasyanovich prevents it.

Brown lands with a short shot to the head.
Vasyanovich tries for a takedown but Brown manages to get underhooks.

Brown turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Brown manages to end up in side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Vasyanovich is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Brown has hold of Vasyanovich's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Vasyanovich seems comfortable defending it but Brown has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Vasyanovich is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Vasyanovich is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Brown couldn't care less - he's delighted!
