The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Hood shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crump sprawls well. Crump wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hood gets slowly back to his feet.
Crump leaves Hood with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hood will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hood shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crump as he jumps to the side.
Crump will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hood shoots in looking for a takedown. Crump tries to sprawl out of it but Hood keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crump manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hood fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Crump avoids it really well and circles away.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Crump lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hood has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hood and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Crump lands a big uppercut and Hood crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hood looks OK. Crump waves Hood back to his feet!

Crump drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Hood right on the button. Hood goes down! Crump follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Crump gets the win via TKO!
