The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez keeps the fight on the outside.
Hernandez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kaalikas as he avoids it easily.
Hernandez slips a jab and a cross from Kaalikas.
Hernandez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kaalikas's waist but Kaalikas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hernandez off to one side.

Hernandez closes the distance and clinches up with Kaalikas, looking for a takedown. Hernandez pushes Kaalikas against the cage but Kaalikas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hernandez feints and as Kaalikas raises his hands in defense, Hernandez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
