And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Awesome takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Mark Awesome has been cut.
A jab from Awesome does it's job there.
A head kick misses from Griffin.
Awesome lunges at Griffin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Griffin's hand.
Griffin catches Awesome with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Griffin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Griffin takes a swing at Awesome's ribcage but misses.
Griffin looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Griffin lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Awesome moves out of range of the body kick from Griffin.
Awesome takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Griffin scores with a jab to the body.
Awesome looks gassed!
Awesome misses with a double jab.
Griffin connects with a leg kick. Awesome looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Griffin lands a nice shot to the body.

Griffin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Awesome manages to avoid it.
Griffin tries a head kick but it misses.
Griffin tries to score with a low kick but Awesome moves his leg out of the way.
Griffin lands with a thumping leg kick.
Griffin tests Awesome's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Awesome rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Griffin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Griffin misses with a left hand
and Awesome counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Griffin looks to score with a jab to the body but Awesome is just out of range.
Griffin lands a nice looking kick to the body. Awesome takes a step back to recover.
Jason Griffin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Griffin throws a leg kick but Awesome checks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A slapping leg kick lands for Griffin.
Awesome shoots in looking for a takedown but Griffin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Awesome's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Griffin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Awesome.
A shot to the body from Griffin misses
and Awesome counters with a two punch combo.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Griffin lands a big head kick that sends Awesome tumbling to the mat! Griffin takes a step backwards and waves Awesome back to his feet - he wants the finish!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Griffin dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mark Awesome's cut.
That's time! Griffin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Griffin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Awesome looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Awesome is rocked!
Griffin throws a head kick that misses.
Awesome is still on wobbly legs! Can Griffin finish him?
Griffin misses with a series of wild punches.
Griffin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Awesome can do to turn this around?
Griffin tries to bum rush Awesome with a series of wild strikes but Awesome uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Griffin moves into range and connects with a jab.
Griffin throws a head kick but Awesome moves out of range.
Griffin Throws a clean left jab. Griffin Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Awesome's chin! Awesome crumbles to the ground and Griffin follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Griffin!
