Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albert Einstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack McClusky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Einstein's entrance music is Angra - Mystery Machine. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying McClusky's choice of entrance music: I Stand Alone. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Albert Einstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jack McClusky!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClusky dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Einstein fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
McClusky fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
McClusky moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Einstein is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McClusky scores with a jab to the body.
McClusky does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
McClusky with a hook.


It looks like Albert Einstein has been cut.
McClusky lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
McClusky fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Einstein manages to avoid it.
Einstein avoids the head kick by McClusky.
McClusky scores with a nice head shot.
McClusky dips to his left and cracks Einstein with an uppercut!
Einstein takes a shot right to the bread basket.
McClusky throws a series of punches but Einstein avoids them all with ease.
McClusky misses with a low kick.
McClusky throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Einstein.
Einstein is looking to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Einstein misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McClusky misses the shot to the body.
Jack McClusky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McClusky throws a looping overhand right but Einstein ducks down to avoid it.

Einstein jabbing away but nothing is landing.

McClusky just misses with a punch to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Einstein is defended easily by McClusky.
McClusky throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McClusky moves out of range as Einstein strikes.
McClusky works Einstein's body with a nice hook.
Einstein walks into a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McClusky keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Einstein.
McClusky lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.


Albert Einstein's cut is getting worse.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Einstein uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McClusky.
Einstein avoids the head kick by McClusky.
A swing and a miss from McClusky.
McClusky lands with a good body shot.
Jack McClusky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McClusky connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
McClusky throws a sloppy head kick and Einstein moves out of range easily.
McClusky fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Einstein checks a leg kick.
Einstein takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Einstein takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
McClusky misses with a looping right.
Einstein on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.


Albert Einstein's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Einstein misses with a wild body shot.
Einstein takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Einstein checks a leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McClusky cracks a nice hook into Einstein's ribs.

McClusky feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Einstein sprawling to the canvas! Einstein rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McClusky finish him?!


Einstein is rocked!
McClusky is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Einstein had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

McClusky throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Einstein sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McClusky connects with a stiff jab that staggers Einstein - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jack McClusky!
