Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eldar Arbuhmedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monique Dangerously (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arbuhmedov throws a body kick that misses.
Dangerously stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dangerously wants it to stay on the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Arbuhmedov enables Dangerously to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Arbuhmedov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Arbuhmedov is on top in guard.

Arbuhmedov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dangerously has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Arbuhmedov has managed to get both his arms back between Dangerously's legs - danger averted.
