The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele blocks a low kick nicely.

Steele throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Burns stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Steele follows into mount!

It looks like Kris Burns has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Steele jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Burns is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Burns and Steele has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Burns tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Steele wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Steele stands up and beckons Burns to his feet.
Burns fails with a takedown attempt.
Burns moves to clinch but Steele breaks away
and Steele counters with a two punch combo.
Nice uppercut lands for Steele. That snapped Burns's head back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Steele scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Burns drops his hands momentarily and Steele needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Burns just on the top of the head. Burns drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Burns - he's done!
