The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jelly walks into a jab.
Mccoy sizes up Jelly with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Mccoy dips to his left and cracks Jelly with an uppercut!

Mccoy misses with a hook. Jelly ducked under it nicely.

Mccoy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Mccoy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Peanut Jelly has been cut.
Jelly walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jelly uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mccoy.
Mccoy might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Mccoy swings for the body but Jelly moves out of range.
Jelly throws a shot from downtown. Mccoy moves away and avoids it.
Jelly avoids a punch combination nicely.

Mccoy lands a really nice looking cross but Jelly seems unphased.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mccoy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jelly moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mccoy throws a hook to the side of Jelly's head but Jelly sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jelly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mccoy clobbers Jelly with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mccoy throws a shot from downtown. Jelly moves away and avoids it.
Mccoy connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Mccoy is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Jelly had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Jelly is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jelly loses concentration momentarily and Mccoy pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Jelly crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Mccoy finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
