and Santoro counters with a shoot takedown. Fenris fights it but they end up in guard.

Fenris escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Santoro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Santoro stands up and waves to Fenris to follow him.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fenris crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Santoro - the referee stops the clock and Fenris gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Santoro. Fenris manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Santoro shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fenris napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Santoro counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
