The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eye keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

johnson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Eye is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. johnson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Eye's back instead.

johnson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Eye has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

johnson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Eye rolls with it to try and escape but johnson cranks on the arm and Eye is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
