The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

johnson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hendayko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

johnson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hendayko is on top in guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hendayko tries to stand but johnson is controlling from the bottom.
johnson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That has opened up Rahziki Hendayko's cut even more.

johnson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hendayko has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hendayko!
johnson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rahziki Hendayko's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
