These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rassaaja throws a series of punches but Rykov avoids them all with ease.
Rassaaja throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rassaaja looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rassaaja tries to close the distance and clinch but Rykov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rykov throws a jab when Rassaaja was well out of range.

Rykov tries to keep at a distance but Rassaaja has taken the fight into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rassaaja keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rykov's efforts to push away.
Rykov is trying to push Rassaaja away but Rassaaja has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Rykov works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Rykov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chilun Rassaaja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rykov throws an overhand right that lands on Rassaaja's shoulder, as Rassaaja tries to avoid the shot.

Rykov dances in with a quick combination. Rassaaja is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Rykov snaps Rassaaja's head back. Rassaaja stumbles backwards against the cage. Rykov steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Rassaaja's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Rassaaja just didn't come prepared.
