Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Hebert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Sinclair!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinclair pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hebert is out of range and Sinclair settles back down.
Hebert walks into a stiff left hand from Sinclair.


It looks like Sam Hebert has been cut.
Hebert lands with a thumping leg kick.
Sinclair scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Hebert slips under a jab.
Hebert throws a head kick that half lands.
Hebert tries to score with a low kick but Sinclair moves his leg out of the way.
A combination from Hebert does no damage.
Sinclair throws a series of punches but Hebert avoids them all with ease.

Hebert scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sinclair trying to hold on to Hebert's head to control him but Hebert postures up.
Sinclair moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Hebert is looking to work some ground and pound but Sinclair has wrist control.

Sinclair not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hebert is fighting to break Sinclair's control of his arms but Sinclair is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Hebert controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Sinclair is looking to sweep but instead, Hebert has passed into half guard.
Hebert prevents Sinclair from standing back up.
Hebert is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hebert is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hebert can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sinclair is looking to escape.
Sinclair tries to reverse the position but Hebert maintains control.
Hebert looking to control but Sinclair is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Sinclair tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Sinclair is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Hebert wants to control the pace but Sinclair is squirming around nicely.
Hebert is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sinclair is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Hebert takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Hebert looking to control but Sinclair is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Sinclair tries to hold on but Hebert postures up.
Sinclair tries to get back to half guard but can't.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hebert controlling the position easily from mount.
Sinclair regains half guard.
Hebert is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Sinclair reverses the position - he's now on top in Hebert's guard.
Hebert trying to keep a closed guard but Sinclair is proving a slippery customer.
Hebert looking for a sweep. Not yet Hebert, not yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dan Sinclair will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Sam Hebert's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Sinclair tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Sinclair rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hebert moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sinclair throws a body punch but Hebert moves out of range.
Sinclair misses with a leg kick
and Hebert counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Hebert takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hebert throws a hook to the side of Sinclair's head but Sinclair sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sinclair misses with a few strikes there.
Sinclair falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hebert counters with a head kick. That will keep Sinclair thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Sinclair misses with a series of wild punches.
Hebert throws a head kick that half lands.

Hebert gets the takedown into side control.

Hebert is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sinclair has escaped the position, nice work there.
Sinclair is breathing heavily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The ground and pound from Hebert seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Sinclair is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Hebert is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Hebert controlling from the full mount.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Sam Hebert just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Hebert keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sinclair falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hebert makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Sinclair throws a nice looking combination but Hebert bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sinclair misses with a looping left.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hebert connects with a high kick.
Sinclair takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hebert.
Hebert shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sinclair as he jumps to the side.
Hebert lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sinclair takes a step back to recover.
Hebert lands a head kick. Sinclair smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Sinclair has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hebert.
Hebert fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sinclair.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hebert.
Sinclair fails to land with a series of punches.
Hebert throws a head kick but Sinclair moves out of range.
Sam Hebert is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sinclair lands a nice hook to Hebert's body. Hebert takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Sam Hebert is winning the standup battle so far.

Hebert feints and then cracks Sinclair's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sinclair down.
Sinclair throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hebert counters with a nice body shot.
Hebert scores with a push kick.
Sinclair misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hebert.
Sinclair blocks a head kick by Hebert.
Sinclair throws a right hand that Hebert ducks under and follows up with a left that Hebert also avoids with ease.
Sinclair swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sinclair misses with a leg kick
and Hebert counters with a slapping leg kick.
Sinclair misses with a hook
and Hebert counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sinclair's knee momentarily.
Sinclair darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sinclair lands with a right that hurts Hebert. Hebert looks to clinch but Sinclair throws a short knee that drops Hebert. This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Dan Sinclair!
