Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cael Sanderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lyle Odelein! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Odelein is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Odelein thows a leg kick but Sanderson checks it enabling Sanderson to counter with a crisp jab. Sanderson avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Odelein throws a low kick but Sanderson moves out of range easily. Sanderson throws a jab when Odelein was well out of range. Odelein misses the body punch and Sanderson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sanderson misses with a looping right. Sanderson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Sanderson slips a jab and a cross from Odelein.

Lyle Odelein is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Odelein misses with a straight right. Sanderson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Odelein throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Cael Sanderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lyle Odelein. Sanderson moves into range and connects with a jab. Odelein fails with an attempt to clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Odelein scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Odelein swings for the body but Sanderson moves out of range.
Sanderson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lyle Odelein dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A cross from Sanderson lands. Sanderson throws a looping overhand right but Odelein ducks down to avoid it. Odelein fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A slow jab from Sanderson misses its intended target. Sanderson is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Odelein pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Odelein throws a quick inside leg kick. Odelein moves to clinch but Sanderson breaks away and Sanderson counters with a stiff right hand. Odelein attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Sanderson throws a lazy uppercut
and Odelein makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Sanderson really felt that one!

Lyle Odelein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sanderson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Odelein pinned against the cage. Odelein gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Odelein tried to score with a low kick but Sanderson checks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanderson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Odelein looks for the body kick but Sanderson saw that one coming. Sanderson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Odelein avoids it really well and circles away. Odelein tries to clinch but Sanderson is having none of it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sanderson. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cael Sanderson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sanderson misses with a looping left.

Odelein is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sanderson pulls him back up using the underhooks. Sanderson avoids the elbow strike from Odelein, against the cage.

Odelein tries to clinch but Sanderson moves away and Sanderson counters with a stiff right hand. Odelein throws a solid leg kick but Sanderson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Odelein. Odelein tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sanderson throws the left hand but Odelein avoids the punch easily. The fighters circling - Odelein throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Odelein throws a solid leg kick but Sanderson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Odelein. Odelein takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

And that's the end of the fight! Lyle Odelein comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Odelein has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
