The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ben closes the distance looking to clinch
and York counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
York looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ben is fending him off so far but York persists. Nope, Ben circles away and we're back to standing.
No joy there for York, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
York moves out of range of the leg kick from Ben.
Ben tries to keep at a distance but York has taken the fight into the clinch.

It looks like Karias York has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
York blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
York is working for takedown but Ben is calmly controlling the position for now.

York tries to pull guard but Ben holds him up against the cage and eventually York drops back down to his feet.
Jorge Ben has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karias York.

A head kick by Ben - that's a beauty! York is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Ben can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
