Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Borg Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alonzo Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borg Hanson had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hanson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rodriguez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hanson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rodriguez keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hanson.

A combination from Hanson does no damage.
Rodriguez tries to clinch there but Hanson circles away.
Hanson misses with the combination.
Hanson throws a sloppy head kick and Rodriguez moves out of range easily.
Rodriguez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hanson throws out the jab.

Hanson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Rodriguez fails with a takedown attempt.
Hanson misses with the combination.
Hanson looks to land a left hand but Rodriguez moved out of range nicely.
Hanson lands with a nice combination. Rodriguez backs away looking to recover.
Rodriguez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hanson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hanson throws a series of punches but Rodriguez moves out of range.
Hanson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rodriguez can pounce on him.

Rodriguez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hanson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hanson is breathing heavily.
Rodriguez lands a nice forearm strike.
Rodriguez wants to control but Hanson is keeping him busy.
Hanson prevents Rodriguez from improving position.
Hanson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hanson tries to get out of the position.
Rodriguez is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Rodriguez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hanson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Rodriguez is controlling him well.

Hanson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Rodriguez works to advance to full mount. Hanson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Rodriguez has control of Hanson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hanson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Hanson is in a horrible position here. Rodriguez smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Rodriguez moves to back control.

Rodriguez has got one arm under Hanson's chin. This could be trouble... Hanson trying to control the other hand but Rodriguez gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Hanson has tapped out! The fight is over!
