Andrzej Blake struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blake closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ray is looking to regain half guard here but Blake keeps moving and retains side control.
Ray manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Blake is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Blake is trying to control. Ray wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Ray slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Ray escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Blake gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ray is looking for a triangle but Blake pushes his legs off easily.

Ray has his foot on Blake's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Blake works his way back into a safe position though.

Ray is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Blake has his hands clasped together but Ray extends an breaks Blake's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ray.
