PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hoso Alvy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daly Foran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foran lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Foran gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Alvy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Foran defends it easily.

Foran really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alvy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Foran is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Alvy is looking to sinch up a triangle. Foran throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Alvy's body to avoid the submission. Alvy has instead reached around Foran's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Alvy arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
