Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between River Greywar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Blast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greywar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Written in the stars. Blast has chosen Goldfinger - Superman as his entrance music. River Greywar had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 137.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tim Blast was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Greywar dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Blast. That did some damage!

Blast moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Greywar is rocked!
Blast fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Greywar manages to avoid it.
Oh Greywar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Blast lands a nice shot to the body.
Blast has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Blast scores with a jab. Greywar acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Greywar needs to keep his hands up - Blast had a free shot at his head there.

Greywar with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Blast to score with a decent uppercut.
Greywar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Greywar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blast circles away quickly and effectively.

Blast lands a big uppercut and Greywar crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Greywar looks OK. Blast waves Greywar back to his feet!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Blast throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Greywar's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Blast dives in looking to finish as Greywar flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Blast's strikes! Blast is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Greywar's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Greywar was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
