Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eddie Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks tries to land a front kick but Katsumoto steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Brooks throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Katsumoto throws a hook but Brooks avoids it easily.
A clash of legs there as Brooks blocks the low kick.
Katsumoto tries a head kick but it misses.
Katsumoto needs to keep his hands up - Brooks had a free shot at his head there.
Brooks gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Katsumoto throws a front kick that sends Brooks stumbling back into the cage.
Katsumoto dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Brooks. That did some damage!
Brooks walks forward, straight into a front kick from Katsumoto.
Takashi Katsumoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Katsumoto connects with a leg kick. Brooks looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Katsumoto scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Katsumoto thumps Brooks with a low kick.
Katsumoto throws a leg kick but Brooks moved away.
Brooks takes a swing at Katsumoto's ribcage but misses.
Brooks takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Katsumoto lands a front kick.
Brooks looks gassed!
Katsumoto lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Katsumoto cracks Brooks with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Eddie Brooks has been cut.
Brooks takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Brooks moves out of range as Katsumoto throws a body kick.
Brooks walks into a straight right hand from Katsumoto.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
No joy there for Katsumoto, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Katsumoto closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Katsumoto landing knees to the body.
Katsumoto working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Katsumoto.
Brooks jumps guard but Katsumoto stands there with Brooks around his waist. Brooks gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Brooks can't get the takedown.
Come on Katsumoto - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Katsumoto has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Brooks - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Katsumoto, and another! Brooks is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Takashi Katsumoto!
