Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dieter Berger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Hulk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berger's entrance music is Feed The Gut. A fine choice. Hulk has chosen Pride Opening Theme Music as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hulk pinned against the cage. Hulk gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hulk looks to land a left hand but Berger moved out of range nicely.

Berger fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hulk sprawls well initially but Berger persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Berger prevents Hulk from standing back up.

Hulk is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Hulk on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Berger winds up and cracks Hulk with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Berger throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hulk keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Berger tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hulk knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Berger working over Hulk with some ground and pound. Hulk looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Berger wants to advance to full mount but Hulk doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Berger wants to pass the guard but Hulk is keeping the position.
Berger trying to control the position from guard on top but Hulk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hulk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Berger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Berger passes Hulk's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Berger is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hulk is just riding it out for now. Berger eventually gives up the hold.
Berger moves into full mount! Hulk won't be happy about that!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hulk can do anything to dispel that myth.

Berger lands a big shot there that rocks Hulk but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Berger loads up with a big shot that hurts Hulk! He's pulled Berger in close but Berger has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Hulk survive? More strikes from Berger and Hulk is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
