And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sergio Morales!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morales throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sloppy strikes from Morales. Those never looked like landing.
No luck for Alberto with that takedown attempt.
Morales throws a leg kick

so Alberto counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Alberto is looking to work some ground and pound but Morales has wrist control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morales can do anything to dispel that myth.
Morales can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Alberto controls the pace.
Alberto is standing up over Morales. Morales looks to escape but Alberto dives into side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Alberto shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Morales sprawls well. Morales wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Alberto gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Alberto is looking to take a break and control but Morales is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Alberto, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
