And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jimmy Peltier!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morrow shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Morrow. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
A decent looking cross lands there for Peltier.

Poor strikes thrown by Morrow there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Peltier is controlling an arm, preventing Morrow from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morrow moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Peltier has worked his arm free - good work by Peltier!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Peltier enables Morrow to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Peltier manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Peltier is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Morrow has managed to free his arm - good work.
Peltier uses his free foot to push down on Morrow's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Morrow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Peltier throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Morrow because Peltier loaded up on that one.
Peltier prevents Morrow from getting the reversal.

Jimmy Peltier showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Peltier might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
