Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Olli Kuhta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asamoah Mensah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kuhta might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Break Out. Mensah has chosen Jump around as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuhta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mensah moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mensah avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kuhta misses with a hook. Mensah ducked under it nicely.
Kuhta throws a combination that misses
and Mensah counters with a one-two to the body.
Mensah just misses with a punch to the body.
Kuhta misses with a low kick.
A shot to the body from Kuhta misses
and Mensah counters with a nice body kick.
Mensah lands a head kick!
Mensah jabs Kuhta to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kuhta is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Mensah is trying to break the clinch but Kuhta is controlling him.
Mensah has Kuhta pressed against the cage, preventing Kuhta from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Mensah pulls guard.
Mensah is pulling down on Kuhta's head. It's preventing any offense from Kuhta, at least for the moment.

Kuhta closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mensah counters with a nice body kick.
Mensah misses with a left hand

and Kuhta counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kuhta.
Kuhta stalling against the cage.
Kuhta wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mensah has him pressed against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kuhta works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

and Kuhta counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Mensah tries to get to full guard but Kuhta has control of the leg.
Kuhta passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mensah!
Kuhta tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Mensah has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Kuhta is looking to control Mensah but Mensah is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Kuhta keeps control of the position easily here as Mensah tries to buck him off.

Mensah tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Kuhta has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! Mensah is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
