The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Polfavol closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Polfavol lands in his opponent's guard.

Polfavol is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Polfavol won't allow Athrox to get back to his feet.
Polfavol pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Athrox is keeping the position for now.
Athrox wants to stand up but Polfavol is controlling him.
Polfavol wants to control from the top but Athrox keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Polfavol stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Athrox swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Athrox looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Polfavol could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
