Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sheldon Manloaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manloaf comes to the cage accompanied by Giant Steps by John Coltrane. John Connor will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manloaf wants to clinch.
Nice defenses there by Manloaf.
Manloaf tries to close the distance and clinch up but Connor swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Connor drives through with a takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Manloaf tries to roll over but Connor keeps him under control.

Connor is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Manloaf is just riding it out for now. Connor eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
